REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS! Hi, I found this on a website and think its a wonderful "reminder" of realistic weight loss goals. If you actually want to be *realistic*, your weight loss goals should be based on your BMI not your weight, and also figure in the amount you eat and level of activity, if you were dieting pre-op, the amount of fluids you had packed in during surgery, etc. It's not really so "one size fits all", and presenting it that way might be upsetting to people who fall on either side of the data, there. It's nice to have hope, though!

Emmie, It is right on for me too. It is kind of a bummer for me, because I am in the first category. Hopefully I'll be one of the ones that gets to lose a little quicker. Good Luck to us all and lets ALL keep a POSITIVE attitude!!
