Do you have to crush all of your pills the rest of your life? Those of us who had lap band at centennial in nashville have to crush all of our meds. YUCK!!

I am on flintstones 2 x day, urso (gallstone preventative), and my regular meds. I don't start the calcium, B-12 until 6 weeks. I start the biotin(for hair loss) at 4 weeks. I don't crush any of mine. I take the urso 1/2 tablet 2 x day. I am already having a hard time remembering what I have to take now. I am really gonna be in trouble!!

I take a children's chewable (at the adult dose) 2x's a day Calcium with D 2x's a day (with the children's 250mg total of 1500mg a day) B-12 sublingual 5000mg (everyother day) Depending on my labs in a few weeks, I'll find out if I need to take iron or not. I was told to take pepsid, took it the first two weeks, but haven't this past week (is it for acid reflux or is it to help heal our pouches?)

I was told that the pepcid helped healed our pouches...have to take for 6 weeks? I don't crush my pills either they're chewable or really small....I was also told not to take any pill bigger than a plain m&m It's amazing seeing how the doctors are so different when prescribing our DRUGS!! Thanks for responding everyone!!!!!

The pepcid is not only for reflux, but it will help prevent any ulcers from forming while your pouch is healing. Don't stop taking that one.
