Starting my Journey

I am starting the journey of lapband surgery. I went to my first seminar yesterday. I have sent the paperwork in so that the surgeon's staff can start to work with my insurance company. I am nervous that I am going to be denied because of all the horror stories I've heard. I would like to have the sugery by October. Not sure if that will happen. Any encouraging words?

Tishonna, I had my RNY done by Dr Ganta at AIBL. He is wonderful and they had me approved the first try. Good luck.

Thanks for the response. I have United Healthcare EPO. when looking at others who have the insurance the were approved pretty quick. We shall see.
