Hi everyone......

I'm fairly new. I came on here a few months ago asking some questions while trying to figure out if I wanted to do the surgery for sure. Well...My paperwork got submitted on July 5th. Has anyone had experience with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield? I was just wondering how long I could expect to wait on them making a decision. My wife had this surgery in August, but we can't remember how long she had to wait after submitting. Any help would be great. I'm really on the borderline as far as being able to have the surgery. My BMI is at 38.8 but i have a pretty bad case of sleep apnea. Everyone send one up for me if you think about it.

Hi Heath. I think my daughter has Anthem and they seemed pretty quick to respond, but they are requiring her to complete a 6-month doctor supervised WL program before they would approve it. Was that a requirement for your wife? ~~jackie
