Good for you, Crystal. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get to the gym today. I don't have a whole lot of time between events, but I'll figure it out. The good news is that I walk for 30 minutes at lunch every day so at least that is something!!! Grazing is the devil! Thanks for committing with me, we'll see come Friday if something changes. Gosh I hope so!!! I already feel lighter, but it was sooo hard not to have any dessert last night. I ate yogurt and cottage cheese, hehe! I'm upping my protein, that is for sure!!! I'll shoot you a reminder later! Amber

Thanks, Jan! This is normally what I eat as well, just cutting out all the crap is the major change. Your support means everything! And I'll work on the peanuts. I mostly use them for protein! Amber

Melissa, My husband and I get the mushroom jack fajitas at least once a week. My husband eats all the tortillas and I eat mine with a fork. They have great salsa there. I eat it with a spoon...YUMMY. Im glad u had a good time. Maybe on your next date you wont be so nervous. Mariah

I hear ya on those carbs. I really like snacking on my reduced fat cheez-its, crackers, pretzels, etc. I'm getting to a point when all of it is gone, I WILL NOT buy anymore. That is my commitment to myself. I also will commit with you to work out more often. I am going to work out at home tonight (my strength training on the floor) and get to Curves on Tues, Wed and Friday. I will report back on Friday Five on how it goes. Send me comments on myspace and remind me to work out!!! Watch out for "grazing." I found I got into this trap - especially on weekends - where I just snack all day and never really get full. I'm going to break that as well. So, here's to our commitment girl!!

1. What types of food did you eat this week? pork roast with a sweet/spicy rub, bbq chicken breast, lots of fruit (oranges, apple, banana, grapes), broccoli, roasted asparagus (yum), garlic chicken, chicken burrito, chicken enchilada, bbq pork chops, reduced fat cheez-its, 100-calorie pack chips ahoy, 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? push-ups, thigh exercises, crunchies... trying to work on strength training. We've got like 3 feet of new snow so jogging is out... I REALLY need a treadmill. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? About 2 lbs.... 93 lbs since surgery and 105 since I started. I saw my doc and he's tickled pink... says I'm doing better than the average patient. That was good news, I thought I was losing slow. 4. What was your biggest challenge? Weather, weather and more weather. I miss jogging and am craving some cardio. I should go to Curves or something. 5. How is your skin? Are you have any issues with it being too loose? Stretch marks? etc? I have major issues with my arms and "the girls." My tummy and thighs are okay. a little more exercise should take care of that although a wanting a tummy tuck after having kids one day may become an issue. I really will consider having plastics done on my arms and a breast lift (still a D so no implants desired, lol). At 27, I want 27 year old "parts," lol. Stretch marks aren't really an issue. *Fun bonus question: You just won a 1000.00 shopping spree, where are you going to spend it? on what? No question, I'd go to JCPenneys... that has become my favorite store. I love shopping now (who'da thunk?). I am now fitting into size 10 jeans and even a size 8 jean skirt so I'd probably wait another couple of months because I'm hoping to be a size 8 when I am done... maaaaybe a size 6... we'll see.

Well Amber, sounds like what I eat every week! My little pouch doesn't like me at all when I eat any starches. I do want to add some fuel for thought ... my DR doesn't want us eating any nuts or peanut butter, the reason behind this is they say they use them as a weight gaining tool. If you eat 2 teaspoons of PB everyday for a week you'll gain 5 pounds. So you might want to drop the peanuts just for this week and see if that helps too. I know you can do this Amber!! You've done a great job so far! Jan

Christina, It was really no big deal, in fact had had a bad attack the weekend before I was scheduled for surgery. I was very glad to get it out! I was at the hospital by 6:00 AM and home that same day by 2:00PM, out of work two weeks, but actually I felt fine the second week and played. Best wishes to you! Jan
