We decided to go to the Pizza inn because they would accomadate all of us and would also only charge us for a kids meal. Those that want to can bring their kids and so more people are able to come. Thay have a salad bar. Also the seats are a lot better to sit on. Hope to see you soon. You can even bring you honey as there are husbands that come to. It is across the street from where the old Sams club was on Rivers.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the reply, but I am a water drinker only!! (Aside from my protien shakes) I read your post bout the carbs in your O.J., very interesting. But, that would not be my problem!! Darn! Thanks for the advice though.

Sarah,
Are you drinking anything with sugar or a lot of carbs? When a person has gastric bypass surgery, the body will produce 4-5 times as much insulin when we drink anything with sugar in it. Insulin will keep you from losing. Try cutting any sugary or drinks with carbs out of your diet. That is the first thing to look for.

Thank you all or replying, I tried using Fitday, but found it hard to track my food since alot of what I eat isn't on there, so you have to post the info in yourself or use something simiilar. I haven't checked my inches in a while, so maybe I should do that. I'm just hopeing that I am not done losing.
Thanks again to all the replys and suggestions!

Hey Sarah, I am with you on the HUGE Stall...but I have been on one since Dec 06..I am however losing the inches (10 since Dec)...but I have only lost 75 lbs in 7 months (very slow loser)...I just went for my 6 month check up and the Dr said that is normal just to keep up what I am doing...
I am also using Fitday.com to track my food intake, I can only eat 3-4 oz at a meal, I don't get hungry, and I only get in 500-900 cals a day, but I find myself trying to snack through out the day at work because I am bored and I burn around 400 + cals a day working out.
Keep doing what you are doing and the weight will come off as stalls are normal...

I've found that recently stress has become a factor in slowing down my loss. I even went through a small gain last week but after a relaxing weekend and making sure to be aware of my calories, fat, protein intake I lost that and another 1/2 pound. One of the other things I realized was that I wasn't getting enough calories. When you are under a lot of stress your body tends to store fat and since I wasn't putting in enough fuel my body went into storage mode pretty quickly. I started to look at my intake on Friday and realized that between my first 2 meals and 2 snacks I had only taken in about 400 cals. That's not much at 8 mos. out considering I had also done 45 mins of cardio--burned all that off. My body was basically screaming that it was gonna hang on to everything it could. I managed to get in 1200 cals. on Sat. and Sun. and by Monday I had taken off the 2 lbs I gained and another 1/2.
