1. What types of food did you eat this week? Chicken, shrimp, salad, crabmeat, tilapia, veggies, strawberries, peanut butter and apple. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Walking and weight lifting. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? 2 1/2 pounds for a total of 107 1/2 pounds 4. What was your biggest challenge? not eating enough protein without the aid of a protein drink. 5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend? Unfortunately I am discovering foods that did agree early post-op now have become evil. LOL I did find that Power crunch has come out with a chocolate bar with protein. (it has a real candy bar consistancy but 1/2 bar has too many calories, 1/4 works and satisfies my sweet tooth) I have only had it once but it is on hand in case of a sweet emergency! I bought it at The Vitamin Shoppe. *Fun bonus question: Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery? Walk up to my son's 6th floor walk up apartment without sweating and being so out of breath that I think I'm going to die. (we are going to visit him in NYC this spring so I'll have a chance to try!)

Dry Roasted Edamame is the bomb, it's my take with me food. 1/4 cup has 14 grams of protein. At first I wasn't sure about it, but now I love it. Walking, I walk everywhere now, and love it. My knee no longer hurts so I tend to park father away from places just to be able to walk more.
