Topic: RE: 9th month stall anyone?
Oh yes, 9th month stall..... I haven't lose anything for 2months now. I started an exercise program at the YMCA. Hadn't done any excercise other that walking my dogs so I am hoping this will help. I still don't eat much, but I eat some bad things. Trying so hard to give them up, again. I have lost 63 since surgery, 83 since starting this journey. I still need to lose about 50 lbs to get to a normal BMI. I want this so much. I did gaing 5 lbs back but have stalled there thank goodness. I am at 183lbs and staying it seems. I think I was this weight for a long time many many years ago, so I think that is why I am stalling at it. I sure hope so. I go for my 10th month in two weeks and sure would like to at least get back to where I was, 178lbs before the DR's apt. Maybe they will have some suggestions. I found a platau breaker diet but I haven't done it yet. I may do a two week liquid (protein) to see if I can shake it up. But I want to give the exercise program (personal trainer) time to work as well. The personal trainer wants me eating so I will have to wait for the liquid diet. Any suggestions to shake it up from all of you Julyer's or others?

Missy- I don't experience what you describe...my bloating is usually always centered around my cycle. Hope it's nothing serious....I'd call the Doctor...just to check. We can't be too careful with our health. Christina S

Topic: Question
Does anyone else ge****er retention even though it's not from their monthly cycle? I seem to be having swelling in my hands and feet. It's not bad, but it causes my hands to feel tight. Even my face at times seems to have it. It's only been the last few weeks. Actually it started after my last menstral. I've been watching my salt intake and my bp is like 100/70 on an average. If it seems to be just me, I'll contact my pcp. Thanks Missy pre-op- 377 surgery 359 current 257

I had my surgery on 7/19. I've been discouraged lately, but talking about it on here helps. I know we can all do this!

I just realized I only filled out 4 questions. I'm such a dork! My latest WOW moment was picking up a pile of 14's my friend gave me that I wasn't trying because I'm not losing any numbers in weight. To my surprise over half of them fit! I pretty much skipped 16 and that was a nice surprise. I'm still trying to not get discouraged even though I can't get past this 200 mark. It will happen when its time, I suppose. I'm doing a women's challenge of walking for the next 8 weeks and I think that it will happen in this time period. Mother's Day was nice. I got to spend it with my son, that's all that mattered! I do not plan on having any more children biologically. I think I'm done, especially since my son is 13 now, but if I get the inkling, I can always adopt!
