I am going in for an endoscopy tomorrow. I am not thrilled about it. Hopefully this will not be a hard procedure. How long did it take before you had to have your first one. My surgery was 7/24 and my food world has been shrinking and today finally closed. Is this how it happened to you?

I'm with you Amber. I lost 6 pounds last wek after the stall. I felt so much better. Then of course my cycle finally started a few days ago, so it stalled again. lol

Deb- Funny you should mention this! I have in my freezer a small boneless turkey that I've been meaning to try to stick in the slow-cooker. Thanks for the positive report! Christina S

Oh you poor poor thing. I'm glad to hear the end is near and that you will feel better soon-ish... and doubly glad the anesthesiologist was hot (). rest up (i know like you have a choice...) and feel better. and congrats on the 56 lbs! Deb

Had my second endoscopy on Friday, and in some ways it was better and worse than the last one two weeks ago. The DR did have to dilate the stricture a bit more, and they said I was coughing a lot during the procedure. I woke up coughing and I was very sore under my chin and near my jawbones all weekend long. I did have a great anesthesiologist ... a young surfer looking guy, that was a sweetheart. The hospital is at the beach and he told me he'd been surfing that morning. He had no problem putting the blood pressure cuff on my forearm after hearing my horror story about my black arm from the last procedure. Best news is it looks like this will be the last time I have to have this done! Worst is I'm very, very tired! I guess after having anesthesia 3 times in less than 7 weeks that's rather normal. As of this morning I'm down 56lb! As thrilled as can be too! Hope everyone is doing well! Janet

Hey Peggy, Congratulations on the 50lb gone forever! Isn't it so exciting? I'm now down 56lbs and thrilled to death. I only weigh once or twice a week so I don't drive myself crazy. I wi**** was still the weekend ... Janet

3 week stall with no weight or inches moving. Today I finally showed a 2 pound loss. It WILL get better!!!

And it does happen just that way. After a 2 week stall the scale just started to move. I had put it in a closet b/c I was obsessing and then one day I just new I was lighter. I got on and was down 2.5, then the next day, another 1.5 then the next .5 more. I put it away again because I was afraid that I may be obsessing but 4.5lbs in 3 days was a definite move in a positive direction.
