I'm a bit stalled too, but I think it's because I've not been exercising like I should be. GRRR....easy way out this is not! Christina S

I think it's okay to complain - as long as you don't let yourself get too far down and go back to old habits. I found it very frustrating and disappointing... no matter how much I told myself to look at the total amount I'd lost. I hit a stall and lost 1 pound in three weeks. Everyone except my doctor and his nutritionist told me to cheer up and look at the big picture. I felt validated in my disappointment when my doctor said yes - I was losing slower than the average. He had me come in and test my metabolism. It ended up being faster than the average person so they said I should eat more to break stalls. I've lost 12 pounds in the two weeks since my stall broke. Your's will break too - I wish you the best!

Hi, I have a rotessirie (sp?) and I have been using that with pork loin roast with a rotessirie seasoning rubbed on. It is so moist and delicious. I have been able to eat pork since a few weeks post op. I agree with everyone else about the slow cooker. I didn't really use my prior to surgery but now its my best friend. Yesterday I slow cooked a beef pot roast and it was so good and tender. Chris

Topic: RE: Anyone else July 25th rebirth days??
Hey~ I'm doing great. I haven't weighed since August 25th but as of then I had lost 21 lbs, making me an official 279. Dunno if that makes me a slow loser or not...but I'll take it.. I can eat basically anything as long as it is very low or has no sugar in it... and I can eat about 1/4 cup of food at a time. In the beginning I was kind of having regrets but not anymore... Its just a major adjustment...and I am feeling very confident about it now. The rest of you July 25th-ers keep me updated with how you're doing...and just stay in touch! Katrina
