I still can not eat. My pouch is very sensitive. I have been trieing some fish and it has stayed, but other than that I have no appetite. I have lost 90 pounds since surgery and a total of 145 pounds since January Jason

About a month ago I went through a 2-3 week period where eating just seemed like such a chore. Making choices, eating protein first, nothing to drink for 30 mins before or 30 mins after. It just started to really get to me. Then it just got a little easier. I still do all those things but it seems easier to me now and I just realized it when I read your post--so thanks and it does get better or at least it did for me.

If you're a weirdo, I'm a weirdo too! I wasn't a food lover before surgery so I am not totally surprised, but considering the amount of food I ate just to be eating, I'm shocked. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes I'd rather just drink my day away - water of course. Others, I'm cool and stuff is appealing and tastes good. You and I are just 4 days apart and started at almost the same point - I had 10 lbs on ya ;) I'm from So Ca too...originally

Karen, So very glad to hear your doing OK, and made it though ... aren't earthquakes fun? LOL The big island happens to be my very favorite, and just last October we were right there near where the quake hit staying at Mauna Kea Beach Resort. Being a born and rasied So Cal girl I've experienced my fair share of earthquakes, and this is a good reminder to check the earthquake kit to make sure we have everything updated and ready. Jan

Congratulations, I can't wait to head back to an amusement in the near future. Flying will be even better. I've already noticed the difference in the movie theater seats. Isn't it great? Keep up the good work! Amber
