Topic: RE: Is that it?! - HELP!
Mark-
My Dr. said that same thing, as well as others on my state board. SO...just keep doing what you know you should be doing and it will start back up again. Maybe during this time you could measure more....our bodies are just catching up with the loss we've already had.

Since my RNY on 7/10 - I lost 46 lbs. I am 54 years old and verically challenge at 5'0" - considered as a light weight WL patient - I started at 215 lb and now a trim 169 lbs. I 'm losing a healthy loss weight of 1 1/2 - 2 lbs per week which the surgeon says is right (on target for goal weight of 115 lbs ) for me.

Mark, My doc. said the same thing & I do experience "plateaus" if I increase my protien intake, water intake & exercise at least 30mins/day 5x/week my weight loss increases for sure! Not to worry, you'll be fine. just make time for some walking.

I lost 20lbs on my 2 week pre-op liquid diet & I am down 49lbs since surgery. I have stopped weighing myself so often. I will weigh once a month. I am down many sizes in clothes, my pants were 3X, I just bought a (snug) size 16 the other day. I exercise alot & also weight training.

Topic: Is that it?! - HELP!
Hey everyone,
I hit my 3 month mark on Oct 11th. I have lost a total of 68 pounds. On the day of my three month appointment my doc said that from this point on the weight lost would slow down. Since then it has stopped all together. Am hitting a plateu or is that it. I am feeling very scared that things are going to reverse themselves and I will gain it all back. I am sticking to the basics, things at work have been extremely stressful and busy. I have been neglecting my exercise big time - whew! having said that I am wondering if this is the missing variable??
Anyone else going through this???
Thanks,
Mark

I'm right on target, 3 months out today and lost 60 pounds!!!! I couldn't be any happier. I'm excited about losing it fast, but I kinda want to go slow. Less stretch marks and finding clothes sucks.
Keep up the good work!

Topic: Lost 44lbs and still NOOOO energy
I had my surgery on the 21st of July. I started at 219. I am now at 175. I do exercise (1x weekly) the rest of my "uncounted" exercise time is keeping up with three children and working from home. I start to clean a room (in my spare time), only to make it messier.Did I mention 3 children whom fight me about picking up after themselves.
I am discouraged that I have not lost more weight. One advantage so far is that since the surgery, I seldom got a period. Since wls I have had 2 and they were exactly a month apart. I am hardly hungry. If I have that extra bite, I get to where I think I might pass out. I just feel so overwhelmed lately. I have trouble going to the bathroom. Either i am costipated or have not gone in weeks. Is anyone else feeling this way?
