Sandy, You are definately not wrong! Like most have said, whatever feels comfortable for you. I don't tell everyone for the same reasons as most, there are ignorant people who will give negative comments about gaining it back etc...that I don't need to hear & I don't feel like big explainations & getting defensive, if they don't know about the surgery I don't hear any of that "stuff" . Keeping myself from hurtful comments is most important, so I have learned the hard way & keep it to myself alot more now.
take care,
Hugs, Heather

Hi Sandy,
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have told my coworkers or as many as my friends as I did. There is too much ignorance regarding WLS. Initially, I was more than willing to explain the procedure to all. NOw, I am just tired of hearing how I can gain it all back like someone they know!
For what its worth, I think you have the right idea!
It is nobody's business.
Good luck,
Maryellen
Topic: RE: Hair Loss?!?!
I am 4 months out and mine is falling out to. I am like you I have a lot of hair so not to bad yet. I wondered the same thing how much longer?
My mom is constantly picking hair off my clothes and my hubby is freaking out about it. I hope it stops soon.

hiya,
Yes, I too am having this problem. It is soooo scary, isn't it? My hair dresser recommended this product, it was $40.00 and I don't see any difference so I won't even recommend it to you. I can tell you that my friends on the NY board have reassured me that this will pass and it will grow back in another 3 months or so regardless of how much protein you try to take in .
Good luck,
Thankfully, I too was blessed with too much hair to begin with...so most people can't really tell, but I defininitely see the difference!

Topic: Hair Loss?!?!
SO, my hair is starting to really fall out a lot now, especially when I wash/bru**** Is anyone else experiencing this? I had a LOT of hair to begin with so it hasn't made me look like a freak or anything, but it definitely has me concerned. My hair feels so much thinner to me and I'm wondering how long this is supposed to last? Is anyone else experiencing this?
