Topic: RE: Am I done losing???
Hi Linda,
I agree with everyone else. This is just a minor speed bump in your journey. I had a 7lbs gain back in September. I freaked out about it a little but it was gone within the next week or so. I still have moment when I gain and lose back and forth. It's frustrating because it brings up old dieting memories for me but I just keep doing what I'm doing and all seem to work it self out. I'm sure the same will be for you. And congrats on you loss thus far.

Topic: How do you all deal with your bad days (eating)?
Hi all my fellow July surgery cousins ,
Figured you all would understand and relate more (if you've dealt with this) since we were all RE-born in July.
So how do you deal with bad days of eating? I really struggled over TG and it went on longer then it should've. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to myself (not like that with others at all just with me), I've pretty much followed the rules the whole time but was way to lacks over the holiday. I kept my daily cals under 900-1000 (my norm is like 6-800 cals a day. The higher cals were for 2 days the other days were poor choices but at MY norm cal range) but my choices were horrible.
I've felt horribly about it ever since and have since straightened back up. Problem is I have lots of guilt over my bad days and I can't seem to let it go and move on even though I've moved on eating wise. Anyone else ever deal with this? What kind of self talk gets you through it? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Topic: RE: i didnt tell i had wls! did u?
Hey Sandy, I am at 63lbs and not budging for a few weeks now, but that's ok I know it is much slower now. I wasn't able to do any exercise cause I was sick (just a bad cold) so I'm just getting back on track now. Other than that I am doing great!!! I got a car on the road, so that is nice! I'm dating.... yes, that's right. ME I'm dating. I never thought I would be doing that again. I'm actually waiting for my date right now, we're just going to watch a movie, but I am nervous like a school girl. I feel kinda sexy though, I am 172lbs. and fit size 16 now (HUGE DIFFERENCE) so I think I have more confedence.
take care , ttys (talk to you soon)
Hugs,
Heather
Topic: RE: ~* Novasure anyone know about it or know someone who had this done? Help!~*
Melissa,
My boss had this done and loves it. I am in the process of having it done. My dr recommeds it for me however, Im not sure about giving up on kids. I know Im getting to old but I always wanted one....Its a really hard decision but I can see me having to go thru with this after the first of the yr. Im just taking a few months to mull it over.
I didnt meet my husband until I was 39 and now Im 43... I still want kids but I know the risk at my age. I have had the Cancer 4 times now and its back again...My dr wants me to do this or he also have me two other options to try first...
I wish u all the best.
Topic: RE: Back pain?
Karine, sorry, I haven't experienced this after surgery. But, I have had occasion to swallow something too large before surgery and it felt "stuck" in the esophagus. I just let the misery continue till it was over back then. I have read on the boards that if you get that feeling to try meat tenderizer, but I don't know how much, if you mix it with fluids, or what.
If it were me and I had been hurting for a couple of days, just to make sure, I would call the doc.
Hope you get better soon.

Topic: RE: Hair Loss?!?!
Hi Miss Crystal!
You are definitely not alone. Mine started falling out about the 3rd month. I've started using Nioxin and I can tell a difference (of course, it could be all in my head). When I told my hairdresser I was using it, he was very pleased. So, obviously he's heard good things. I've heard that it will pass, so hang in there!
Best wishes,
Deanna
