Topic: HAPPY NEW YEAR
I just wanted to wish all you July Losers a HAPPY NEW YEAR. My year has started off great. I am down from 394 to tonight I was 276. Cant beat that in less than 6 months. Im looking forward to what the next 6 months will bring me.
I was wearing a 32 back in July and tonight my 2x and 24's are big. I just dont have enough 1x's to wear right now so I'll be in 2x's the rest of the winter...maybe next I can just buy an xl....who would have ever dreamed this last yr at this time.
I hope u all are having a great new yr....IM gonna be cleaning out all my fat clothes today...boxing them up for a clothing exchange Im going to for the Indiana board...on the 13th of this month.
Topic: RE: Friday Five - Weekly Update!
1. What types of food did you eat this week? Pork roast, green beans, Tea misto's, chili and more chili!
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Water aerobics
3. How much weight did you lose? ??? Not home didn't weigh this week Total loss?
4. What was your biggest challenge? Staying away from Cheetos while at friends! I broke down and ate them until I got a stomach ache! First time I've been so bad since surgery ... see even the want to be good ones fail!
5. Were there any major struggles about eating/exercising over Christmas? If not, what foods make you gassy??? I'm so very lucky in that nothing makes me gassy anymore! No real time for exercise during Christmas week.
*Fun bonus question:
If you wanted to achieve one mini-goal per month for 2007, what would they be? Much more movement and even more fun than I'm already having!
Happy New Year Everyone!

1. What types of food did you eat this week? Mostly protein: broasted chicken, fresh salmon, fresh fish, cheese sticks and string cheese, fat-free cottage cheese with fat-free refried beans, and just gotta have seasoned slow-cooked pork loin.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Primarily Yoga Pilates and regular Pilates.
3. How much weight did you lose? Six pounds! Total loss? 81!
4. What was your biggest challenge? Getting in more fresh vegetables.
5. Were there any major struggles about eating/exercising over Christmas? If not, what foods make you gassy??? No challenges at all with eating/exercising from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Even Christmas day I only had lean meat and herb buttered green beans. Amazingly, was not the least bit tempted to even taste any of the interesting appetizers, nor three fabulous-appearring homemade desserts. Am diligent in following my program, and have not had any gas. Am certain my answer would be different if I had an appetite or hunger.--unbelievable at five months plus nearly a week out!
*Fun bonus question:If you wanted to achieve one mini-goal per month for 2007, what would it be? That when I regain appetite and hunger, to not gain an ounce in any given month, even when at goal.

Diana-
I know I'm a few days late responding to your post, but here are a few that I've recently mulled over....
1) Grow closer to God to accomplish ANYTHING! This will also help me to be a better, more loving and understanding wife.
2) Get to WLS goal through exercise, being diligent with protein and vitamins and eating healthy.
3) Volunteer more at local charities and my church. Give to others through time, talent and resources.
4) Build relationships with friends. I tend to be an introvert (although most that know me would be surprised to hear me say that) and not get deep with people...I'd like to improve on that.
Those are pretty much what I have for now...Bottom line, I just want to be a better me for myself and others.
Blessings,
Christina

Great job Sandy. I'm now down 86 and have 20 or so to go. I haven't been on here lately, I did put pics on my profile. Check them out. And happy New year.
