1. What types of food did you eat this week? All the normal things - I did have a cranberry/orange muffin that was wonderful! Oh and tried Eggface's recipe for Beef Fiesta Bites - YUMMY! 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking 3. How much weight did you lose? 2 more pounds Total loss? 196 gone forever!!! 4. What was your biggest challenge? not eating fast 5. What's your most reliable post-op food, the one that never makes you sick? Homemade turkey chili, we make a huge pot every few weeks and I freeze it in individual containers for lunches. *Fun bonus question: What are your Thanksgiving plans/menu this year? It's at our house this year and I'm doing the cooking for the family. My Mom will make her deviled eggs and MIL is doing mashed potatoes but everything else I'm fixing. We're not a turkey family, no one really likes it, so I decided to fix a ham this year. We have a few diabetics and I always make everything SF, figure it won't hurt anyone else. Here's our menu - Ham w/SF apricot glaze green bean casserole mashed potatoes SF cranberry/orange sauce - homemade SF Pistachio Fluff RF Crescent rolls veggie/olive tray SF homemade bread n butter pickles SF Pecan Pie SF Pumpkin Pie Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Hi Jan, What is eggfaces recipe? Where can I find it? You always contribute such great recipes, I'd love to have this one too! Also, I've never heard of Sugar free Pistachio fluff, do you make this homemade? Have a great holiday!

Eggface's (Shelly, who a moderator here) website, she has lots of good things posted - http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ The pistachio fluff is a family favorite, I just make it SF. Pistachio fluff ~~~~~~~~~ 2 boxes SF Pistachio pudding 1 can crushed pineapple , in it's own juice and undrained 1 tub SF Cool Whip Mix together and let set overnight, stir before serving.

OMG, I hope you don't think I am a totally idiot but I have to ask.... do you make the pudding with milk as on the box directions or do you just empty it out into the pineapples? I really want to make it on Thanksgiving, but don't want to screw it up. thanks.

Don't worry I totally understand! I just mix part of the cool whip in with the pudding, then add some pineapple to get a bit of liquid, then slowly add the rest of the cool whip and pineapple. It'll be thick while mixing, and you'll need to make it the night before. Stir well to mix before serving.

I just went to an Obesity Help Christmas Party for the Indiana room. One of the losers made this very di**** was delish. We have these gatherings every 3 months or so and all bring a pouch friendly dish....I wish we all lived close enough together we could all get together. One clothing exchange we had someone made this with an Orange pudding..that was really good too.
