Guaranteed Plateau Buster
Ok guys and gals,
I lost 9 lbs. last week alone on this diet. It kicked me off of my 4 month plateau. This is a 3 day diet, where you can lose 10lbs. This worked well for me, because it was actually too much food at one point. But it is perfect to get you back on track and losiing again. It helped me. 222 lbs to 213 lbs. in 1 week. I wanted to share the love.
Day 1
Breakfast:
Black coffee or tea
1/2 grapefruit or juice
1 slice of toast
1 tbsp peanut butter
Lunch:
1/2 cup tuna
1 slice toast
coffee or tea
Dinner:
2 slices any type meat (about 3 oz.)
1 cup string beans
1 cup beets or carrots
1 small apple
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Day 2
Breakfast:
Black coffee or tea
1 egg
1 slice toast
1/2 banana
Lunch:
1 cup cottage cheese
5 saltine crackers
coffee or tea
Dinner:
2 weiners (Franks)
1 cup broccoli or cabbage
1/2 ccup carrots
1/2 banana
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
Day 3
Breakfast:
Black coffee or tea
5 saltine crackers
1 slice of cheddar cheese
1 small apple
Lunch:
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice toast
coffee or tea
Dinner:
1 cup tuna
1 cup beets or carrots
1 cup cauliflower or greens
1 cup canteloupe
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
This diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven to work. Do not vary or substitute any of the foods. Salt and pepper may be used but no other seasoning. This diet is to be used 3 days at a time. In 3 days you will lose 10 lbs. After 3 days of dieting you can eat your usual food but don't over eat. After 4 days of normal eating, start back on your 3 day diet. This diet is used at Birmingham, Al Hospital Cardiac Unit for patients who need to lose lots of weight in a hurry before having heart surgery. You can lose up to 40 lbs a month.
Aloha .... Interesting diet I think for non WLS people. I still don't eat cracker, or ice cream in any form, and won't until I'm at my goal. And....that dinner on the last day......there is no way I could eat even a quarter of that at one sitting. I wonder if anyone has adapted the diet for WLS patients.
