One year today!!

SO, a year ago today, I was laying in a hospital recovering from one of the most life-altering decisions in my life. I weighed in the day before surgery at 262, down 13 lbs from my highest of 275. I now weigh 142. I have lost 120 lbs since surgery and almost 135 total. I cannot even put into words how this has changed my life in every possible way. I am leaving on a Caribbean cruise tomorrow so I dont have time to write all of my reflections but I just wanted to hop on for a moment on this big day of days and say WOW!! I am a different person, really. My health is 100x better, I can do SOOOO many things I never could before, I met the man of my dreams.... I can't even begin to describe all of the changes. I just have to say that it's been amazing and I thank God every day for this opportunity. I hope you are all doing as well as I am!!

YAYAYAYA, Crystal. I'm so happy for all of us. Having you and Christina as my date twins has been really great over this last year and its so great to see that we were all successful. Granted, I lost the least, but we're all different and I'll get OVER IT, hahaha! I can't wait to hear about all the good stuff when you get back! Have a blast on your cruise and let them treat you like the princess you are!!!

July 25, 2006...my one-year surgiversary! The past year revealed a multitude of blessings as I literally shrank down 110 lbs, from 239 to 129 and holding! Space here doesn't allow rumination of the countless progresive 'wow' moments, amaziing compliments as my body shrank from size 22W pants and size2X tops down to the current size 8 petitie slacks/shorts to XS tops on this 5' - 1/2" petite frame...priceless! ...five words that you would use to describe you? Generous spirit Amazing sense of humor Intelligent True to self Compassionate My mantra: "Charm strikes the sight, merit wins the soul."
