What are your Easter Plans? If you practice Catholism, what did you give up for Lent? Do you have a good Easter memory to share?
My mom and I will go to church for Easter and then make a small dinner together. We're not Catholic, so nothing given up for Lent. One of my fondest Easter memories is doing the egg hunt in my grandparent's backyard. When my grandpa was alive he'd always hide a special egg for us in his trouser pant leg cuff....traditionally I would find it.
Have a great weekend!

*Fun bonus question:
What are your Easter Plans? If you practice Catholism, what did you give up for Lent? Do you have a good Easter memory to share?
I just work every other weekend, and this is my scheduled weekend. Will work til 3:30 pm Sunday, then my honey-bunny is picking me up for our own celebration. Not Catholic, and adhered to my Protestant Lent traditions.
Favorite Easter memory:
Spending Easter Sunday at maternal grandparents' with thirty-one cousins and seven sets of aunts and uncles. Amazing food set out, much kids' outdoor play on their beef cattle farm, climbing the old silo, swinging from ropes in the hayloft, looking for a 'secret tunnel' an older cousin had told us about--which took about eight years to find out didn't even exist!, and definitely no shortage of candy! Grandma traditionally made a life-size bunny rabbit cake heavily sprinkled with coconut---just for all we kids! We often wanted that cake before any meal or candy, although that never ever happened!
Happy Easter everyone! I know that my Redeemer lives! He's risen indeed! Patti
