Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery?
1. What types of food did you eat this week? Salmon, flank steak, chicken, pork chops, plums, paypaya, fresh pineapple,melons, bananas, green beans, salads, chili and tea mistos.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking and more walking
3. How much weight did you lose? 2 pounds Total loss? 146 pounds gone forever!
4. What was your biggest challenge? Eating enough. We were in Seattle over the weekend, and I didn't eat much at all, way too busy.
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend? Dry Roasted Edamame is the bomb, it's my take with me food. 1/4 cup has 14 grams of protein. At first I wasn't sure about it, but now I love it. I also like Power Crunch bars for in a pinch eating.

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery? Walking, I walk everywhere now, and love it. My knee no longer hurts so I tend to park father away from places just to be able to walk more.

Chicken, shrimp, salad, crabmeat, tilapia, veggies, strawberries, peanut butter and apple.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week?
Walking and weight lifting.
3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss?
2 1/2 pounds for a total of 107 1/2 pounds
4. What was your biggest challenge?
not eating enough protein without the aid of a protein drink.
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend?
Unfortunately I am discovering foods that did agree early post-op now have become evil. LOL I did find that Power crunch has come out with a chocolate bar with protein. (it has a real candy bar consistancy but 1/2 bar has too many calories, 1/4 works and satisfies my sweet tooth) I have only had it once but it is on hand in case of a sweet emergency! I bought it at The Vitamin Shoppe.

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery?
Walk up to my son's 6th floor walk up apartment without sweating and being so out of breath that I think I'm going to die. (we are going to visit him in NYC this spring so I'll have a chance to try!)
1. What types of food did you eat this week? Salmon, chicken, talapia, mixed veggies, applesauce, cheese, beef jerky, eggs, protein shakes, protein bars.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking, stair climbing, weights
3. How much weight did you lose? 2.2 Total loss? 71 lbs still up 6 from a couple weeks ago
4. What was your biggest challenge? Eating enough food, I still don't get hungry, and wanting to snack at work.
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend? Salmon with lemon pepper and cinnoman raisin protein bars by southbeach

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery? Go on a 20 mile bike ride with my husband and kids.
1. What types of food did you eat this week?
kraut and sauage, crab casserole, chicken, oranges, cashews, soy nuts,
drink....atkins choc protien and profect mixed in fuse.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week?
went hiking/walking with hubby 2x. indoor bike riding
3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? 3 lbs
4. What was your biggest challenge? buying more clothes
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend?
not really anything new...

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery? going to go out in a canoe this spring ...I have put this off the past 4 yrs...wont have wt as my excuse this yr. Might even go white water rafting too
1. What types of food did you eat this week? Chicken, ham, turkey, bananas, PB, Low carb wraps, yogurt, tuna, cheeeese lol
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking - I've been walking wayyy more.
3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? I've lost 2.5 lbs for a total loss of 95 lbs
4. What was your biggest challenge? Staying away from trigger foods.
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend? I think those EAS protein shakes are great. I think they have 17 g of protein and no sugar what so ever. They come in a pack of 4 and are available at Walmart.

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery?
I want to be able to run/jog at least a mile.
1. What types of food did you eat this week? turkey burger, turkey chili, salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, pork tenderloin, etc.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking, jogging (twice), some hand weights.
3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? lost a couple more pounds, down 102 pounds now! Only three pounds until I'm in "onederland."
4. What was your biggest challenge? finding time to exercise, as it was an extraordinarily busy week, with two friends in the hospital for WLS, inheriting two more boys for three days, etc.
5. Have you discovered any type of new food, supplement, or exercise product to recommend? I enjoy the new Quaker mini rice cakes in the small 90 calorie packs...the ones with the fudge drizzle on them are great. It's kind of a wasted 90 calories, so I won't buy them regularly, but it was a nice treat.

Now that you are losing weight, what is one thing that you want to accomplish that you couldn't do before the surgery? Wow, there are so many to choose from; I'll pick a fun one...I want to be able to wear high heels again, which I haven't worn in years! I would love some sexy shoes!
