Struggling..
Hey all.. Is anyone else having hard times with food and the weight loss?
I just got off a big stall in February I went from 224 to currently 211-210. The scale just isn't moving for me.
We should have an accountability post like "what did you eat today?" I think that would give everyone ideas plus keep us on track.
I'm not looking for pity but I feel like I'm gonna fail at this. Wouldn't it be awful to go through with this very costly surgery and fail miserably at it? ahhhh I think I'm having a bad day.
Anyone have any advice or thoughts?

Hi Katrina, I have no suggestions for you either I have been on the same stall since Dec 06 finally 2 weeks ago I lost 6 pounds kept it off for 3 days now I am up 6 pounds URGGGG!!!! I know your frustration and I have changed up my routine (stopped working out Dr's orders), my eating plan, then when I started working out again 2 weeks ago I lost the 6 pounds...I called my nut and she said it was normal for this to happen to keep drinking my water, doing protein, and taking my vitamins and it will soon pass....she also said to change up my calories now I am getting in anywhere between 400-600 calories a day and she said that could be the reason so put more calories in your diet we should be at around 900-1200 cals a day (according to nut)...
Just remember keep your chin up you will break through it
Hi Katrina,

Sometimes I think we need to go for a tune-up.
So, try some new foods, check out some bariatric recipes (bariatriceating.com) and ask yourself are you truly following the rules? Do you find yourself grazing? If so, get rid of the unhealthy snacks. Are you eating protein first, veggies then maybe a few carbs and in that order? Are you eating the amount of protein required? Are you eating 2 servings of fruits daily? Have you incorporated exercise into your lifestyle? If so, change it to something else, maybe you are feeling bored with your current routine? Are you avoiding sugars and bad carb choices? Are you drinking enough water? Are you only drinking decaf coffees and or teas?
Ask yourself these questions, and be honest with yourself. Make the necessary changes for you to get the best results possible and to be able to utilize this tool you now have.
Good luck,
Maryellen
