Hi Amber, I was hoping you weren't sick or anything today when I saw you hadn't posted! I'm glad you were just busy. 1. What types of food did you eat this week? Same as usual, except I tried two new things: ground chicken (yummy) and SF Dulce de Leche pudding! Really yummy! 2. What types of exercise did you do this week?Leslie Sansone's Walk and Jog, Slim Shape and Sculpt, three times. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? 2 pounds; total of 95. 4. What was your biggest challenge? Biggest challenge was that I was on my period and I was uncomfortable, and also this morning woke up throwing up! Bleh. 5. Name one thing you were not prepared for? How did you deal with it? Can't think of anything. *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? Maybe Steve Perry, so I could find out what he's doing nowadays and why the heck he won't sing anymore! He's the most amazing singer! What a waste that we can't hear that voice now other than on old cds, and he won't tell anyone anything definite about why. Either that or Angelina, so I could smooch Brad.

Hi Amber- 1. What types of food did you eat this week? Burritos, Chicken, Asparagus, mashed sweet potatoes, salad w/tuna, protein bars, cereal, milk, water 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? I walked between buildings a few times...does that count? This is such an area of struggle for me! 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? Total...approx. 110 4. What was your biggest challenge? Exercise! I can't seem to incorporate it on a regular basis. Any suggestions? I can't join a gym ($) or get a trainer ($$). 5. Name one thing you were not prepared for? How did you deal with it? I wasn't prepared for losing weight on top much faster than on bottom. So far I've done ok, but I'm starting to feel like a pear...and not liking the look. I'm hoping that I can start to buy clothes that flatter my inner-pear vs. wearing the things I have because they don't cost anything! *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? I would be Giada DeLaruentis (sp). I'd be her so I could travel to Italy and eat all those big bites of wonderfully rich foods and still be stick thin!

Its caused me a few problems at work....LOL. So be it. I sure wasnt expecting that. Im so outgoing now...lol *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? I think I would like to be Oprah for a day. I would want to do good for others and enjoy the day teaching others to improve their lives. Hi Christina, I felt compelled to respond to your post, as you sound just like I did a couple of months ago. I have been the worst about exercising, have always disliked it, but I know I'd have lost more weight than I have so far had I been exercising all along. However, a bit over a month ago I noticed that my weight loss was just down to nothing; I'd sit at the same weight for two weeks, and it was driving me crazy. So I was desperate enough to try exercise! I pulled out my Leslie Sansone dvds ( www.lesliesansone.com and www.walkblaster.com ) and my step thingy, the Walk Blaster, and try it out. I'd had it for like two years and had hardly used it; maybe just twice or three times, and none of those post-op. Anyway, I committed myself to using it for a week to see if it made a difference. It really did! I started losing again, and I felt so good. So here I am, six weeks later, and I am still exercising four or five times a week, and still losing. Leslie's dvds are so easy to do, and you don't have to go anywhere to do them, you can do them at home anytime you want. She's my hero! LOL I have lost more quickly from the top than the bottom, too. I am finally noticing that my abdomen is getting somewhat smaller, though I can tell I am really going to need a tummy tuck someday. After three babies and excessive weight gain, that skin is not retracting! By the way, don't you wonder if Giada swallows? How can she be what looks almost like underweight and still eat all that chocolate and pasta? Just an observation. Hope you enjoy your day! Steph

1. What types of food did you eat this week? I went a whole week without bad carbs. It sucked. I couldn't wait to get to my goldfish this weekend. I did feel a lot better. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? I think I made it twice to the gym. However, I was a busy bee and I did a lot of walking while I was shopping. It counts! 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? I lost 1 pound. I didn't break 210, but I'm still proud of myself for making it without eating my goldfish as promised. 4. What was your biggest challenge? Not enough hours in a day. 5. Name one thing you were not prepared for? How did you deal with it? I didn't think I would miss my old clothes as much as I have. It took me 6 months to really let go. I still get sad when I go to put something on and it doesn't fit right. It's bittersweet. Honestly. I've been selling them though and it feels great to pass them on to people that will appreciate them. *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? Angelina Jolie. The woman does it all. She's remarkably beautiful, she travels all over, she works as an ambassador, and she gets to have sex with Brad Pitt, I'd love to see what its like for one day. I don't think I'd want it permanently, the paparazzi would drive me loco!

1. What types of food did you eat this week? Steak, pork chop, spinach artichoke dip, 1/4 an english muffin (boy it sure tasted good, but the pouch was not happy at all), chicken salad, cantalope, watermelon, blueberries, bananas, veggies, chili, yogurt, cheese, tea mistos. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking 3. How much weight did you lose? 1 pound Total loss? 138 gone forever 4. What was your biggest challenge? not weighing each day 5. Name one thing you were not prepared for? The disapointment I would have over foods I can't eat again. How did you deal with it? Got depressed at first then decided it was silly. Still dealing with it actually, I think it will be a daily thing for me. *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? None I wouldn't want to be a celebrity, I love my life just as it is. The Media would drive me crazy.

1. What types of food did you eat this week? I've developed a love for asparagus. I roast it. I also make apple rings (very yummy, low sugar, no fat). I made a yummy pork roast, my usual teryaki chicken. I also had bbq chicken pizza. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Cross-Country skiing... yes we finally got snow, walking, not as much as I'd like to. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? a little over 1 lb... it's really slowing down. total loss about 93 or 94 lbs since surgery... 106 or 107 total. 4. What was your biggest challenge? Probably exercise as usual. I'm going back to Curves though... I need a routine, not just a "get out there when i can" attitude. 5. Name one thing you were not prepared for? How did you deal with it? I wasn't prepared how much I would hate eating for the first 5-6 months. I also wasn't prepared for the challenge I now face with making right decisions. I can eat things that I shouldn't, so I'm faced with old challenges to make good decisions, which is OK and I'm much better at it now than I used to be. *Fun bonus question: You get to live as one celebrity for a day, who would it be? why? I really don't know... maybe the Queen of England... she's got all kinds of money and everything at her fingertips. I'd love to go on her ship and travel Europe for the day.
