Hi Amber,
I've been lurking mostly on this board, but I'll join in on this! Today is my six-month surgiversary, and I'm staying committed so that I keep losing down to goal. I still need to lose 70 pounds! I hope it's possible!
1. This week I ate lowfat turkey chili, a small bit of regular chili, a low calorie/fat veggie eggroll (lean cuisine...didn't eat the rice), etc. I notice I have substituted a lf/sf soymilk protein shake for breakfast. It fills me up so much I don't feel like eating for hours afterward.
2. This week I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Blaster (it's like an aerobic step) workout four times, did Pilates three times, and yoga once.
3. I haven't lost any weight in five days, maybe six after I weigh today. Actually, over this whole month of January, I have only lost five pounds. Is that abnormal, do you think? I have lost 84 pounds total.
4. My biggest challenge? Training myself not to eat anything late in the evening. I'm a night owl, so that is a challenge for me. I did it, though!
5. Yes, my undies are a bit loose, but I hate to buy new ones until I just have to! Also, I am having a bra problem. I have one that's too small still, and the rest are too big.
bonus: I believe I would move to England. Italy's food is too good, so I don't think I'd keep my weight off there! England is lovely, and the food doesn't seem that great, and I understand the language, so it seems perfect! I've always wanted to go.
They have lovely architecture and a long and interesting history. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.
Have a great weekend!
Steph
Great new picture Amber, you look amazing!!

3. How much weight did you lose? 2 lb. Total loss? 125 gone forever!!
4. What was your biggest challenge? Getting in my vitamins!
5. Underwear seems to be a difficult problem for me, how about you??? Underwear is getting a bit big, but not a real problem as of yet, of course it was too tight before surgery.
*Fun bonus question:
If you had to move out of the country, which country would you move to? Holland !!! Why? My husband is Dutch, was born there, and we have lots of family there. It's a beautiful country that I love to visit. We usually go every other year, in fact this year we're going to Ireland (9 days) and Holland (5 days) in April, and none of his family there knows I had WLS! What a surprise that'll be.
1. What types of food did you eat this week?
CHILI, MOSTLY. LOTS OF LEFTOVERS IT SEEMS. SOME SALMON, AND PORKCHOPS. (THE PORKCHOPS ARE RARE)
2. What types of exercise did you do this week?
PILATES, ON TUES, WED AND THURS. I USUALLY GO ON FRIDAY TOO, BUT I'M NOT JUST SORE, BUT IN PAIN, AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE TOMORROW. MY ABS ARE *KILLING* ME.

NO IDEA, SINCE I WEIGH EVERY OTHER WEEK, BUT AS OF LAST WEIGH-IN, I HAVE LOST 88LBS.
4. What was your biggest challenge?
REMEMBERING TO EAT. I'M STILL TRYING TO SETTLE INTO MY NEW SCHEDULE.
5. Underwear seems to be a difficult problem for me, how about you???
IT BUNCHES UP. THANK GOODNESS THE NEW PACK I BOUGHT WAS A LITTLE TOO SMALL, SO I CAN SHRINK INTO THEM.
*Fun bonus question:
If you had to move out of the country, which country would you move to? Why?
FRANCE MAYBE. JUST CUZ IT'S PRETTY, BUT I LOVE THE GOOD 'OL USA!
Just wanted to chine in on the underware problem. I bought smaller undies about 2 months back but the best thing I have sound are those lycra firm control panties. They really do a great job holding in all my flabby skin on my abd now that I have lost 130 some lbs. If any of u need something to hold in that skin....they work great.
TC,
Thank you, Im feeling great for sure. I am really starting to see a differnce in my body now. For some reason until recently it all wasnt clicking. The bad news: Now my cravings and hunger are coming back and Im getting scared of returning to old habits.
My body and my life has totally changed in the last 6 months. I dont want to go back for anything. I know since Christmas I have not been eating the foods should and I am going to start going to an OA meeting tonight for the first time. Hopefully start dealing with my issues over food. Its supposed to be a 12 step program similar to AA and NA. Hopefully I can get my brain in as good of shape as my body is getting.
1. What types of food did you eat this week? Yogurt, Chili, Slow Cooked Chicken & Pork, SF Banana Cream Pie, Cottage Cheese, Cheese, Fruit, Coffee, Baked Golfish, Potatos, Green Beans, SF Ice Cream, etc.
2. What types of exercise did you do this week? I finally got back to the gym one day and did some cardio. Gotta get back into the groove.
3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? I'm still at 85 pounds down.
4. What was your biggest challenge? I have zero energy. Between the pain pills and just being lethargic.
5. Underwear seems to be a difficult problem for me, how about you??? My best friend and I were going to make a documentary on the search for the perfect underwear. What seems to work best for me is the boy shorts from fruit of the loom or Lane Bryant undies. Eventually, LB won't work for me anymore and that depresses me. Bras are an issue as well. I knew my breasts would go bye bye, it's just something I have to deal with, I guess.
*Fun bonus question:
If you had to move out of the country, which country would you move to? Why? I would go to Australia. It's always been my dream to go there and I will some day.
