Aloha WLS sisters....Well, I finally moved... more than just to get to the car and walk around the stores shopping. I found this wonderful pathway down in Wailea that goes in front of all the big hotels, above the beach, and it is a glorious walk. I don't know if this will work, but if you click on this link, and go to the last three pictures, it should show what the walkway looks like: http://www.kodakgallery.com/missmaui/main/maui_2004 The pathway winds around and goes up and down so it's great exercise, plus I get to watch the people on the beach, snorkeling and the whales frolicking. I took my camera and had a great time yesterday. Hopefully, I'll make this an every other day walk and add a few more minutes each day. Anyone want to come over and walk with me? I need inspiration!! Aloha nui loa, KarenS P.S. I lost two more pounds this morning...I wonder if it had anything to do with going for that walk!!

Ohmigosh Karen! Thank you so much for sharing the pics; I 've never been to Hawaii , although you could certainly post your address so any of us could fly out for a couple weeks you know!?!!! How many shrinking bodies would fit in your place?! I 'll accept additional inspiration, and walking that amazing path near the ocean works for me! (I can smell it!) the whales (I got splashed!), the flowers (ooohh what sensory overload with the sights and amazing aromas!) and thank you for brightening my knowlege: didn't know palm trees get trimmed! Palm trees I've seen in Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Phoenix and 'burbs, Tucson...wow, I need to get by the ocean ASAP! You're very fortunate, I'm a 'cat people', owned by one cat: your gorgeous Miss Popoki....yep, she IS a calender cat, yeah, fur shur, ya' betcha!!! My Chloe's godmother can keep Chloe for the duration, and I better go start packing! Don't fret, I assure you this will be the first time I pack very light. Not just because of being down to wearing size 14s, I'll save room for the other gals! You could make a killing on this concept Karen, name the rent price...I don't eat much and don't need much sleeping space...Thanks again so much for this treat and take care of you! May you continue to be inspired, and have a wonderful weekend, and a blessed Christmas! Hugs, Patti

Oh, Karen I'd join you everyday if I could! What a beautiful path and the perfect reason to take a walk! This morning where I live in So Cal it was 38 degrees ... I'd much rather be in Hawaii! Keep up the good work! Jan

Aloha Sandy......Thanks for the compliment. I took a lot of the pictures, but my son took several, too. My weight loss goes in such cycles.....nothing for days, and then down two or three pounds. I know I'm not losing as fast as some July people, but as long as it keeps coming off steadily every month, I feel OK. So far my weight loss is 62 pounds, and that is HUGE (to me) when I think about it being less than five months. We'll get there......!! Aloha nui loa, KarenS
