Do you still have discomfort when you first start eating?

I still dread the thought of sitting down to eat because of the discomfort. Does this go away? Do you still have this feeling?

Depends on what I eat, how big of a bite or if I start too fast. When I first start eating salads I really have to take my time with it, otherwise it feels like it sticks. Same w/ drier meats. I had to take a bite on Thanksgiving and make sure my pouch was ready for turkey. For the most part, though, that has greatly subsided. I do remember that feeling that eating was a chore b/c it kinda hurt.

I haven't experienced discomfort upon eating, so I can't offer any words of wisdom. Gee, I hope it is psychological and just your pouch's way of encouraging you to eat in a healthy way! Let us know what you find out.

Yes I do & it's definately not psychological! Sometimes even liquid feels uncomfortable & I am hoping that "this too shall pass" lol. It has nothing to do with how fast I eat or how well I chew. It is just discomfort. Let me know if you find out why this is or if it is just normal for some of us. Hugs, Heather
