1. What types of food did you eat this week? Fruit & Walnut Snack (from McD's, never thought I would buy something from there again), taters, corn, artichoke/spinach/blue cheese thin crust pizza, grilled turkey burgers, spaghetti (very small portion), Fiber 1 Honey Clusters cereal, and deviled eggs. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? lifted my little weights, pushups/situps/stretching/jumpingjacks, and walking. Found another gym to test out soon. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? I'm down 4 pounds since the last time I posted. 229. Total: 71 pounds, woohoo! I'm out of the 230's. 4. What was your biggest challenge? Not weighing myself every 5 seconds. 5. You had to have a WOW moment by now, what's your favorite? I went to a Christmas Party last night and it was formal. I knew I was going to wear one of my dresses from last year, just to see what it was like today. I looked SO much better and the top part was falling off of me. What's better? I bought a size 12 dress as inspiration for New Years and I couldn't help but try it on. It fit. Holy ****! I could stand to lose more weight to look better, but it fit!!!!!! *Fun bonus question: Do you have/plan to get that little black dress for New Years? Been there done that and I'll be able to wear it, I'm so excited!!! Amber

1. What types of food did you eat this week? Mahi Mahi, chili, salads, part of a carne asada taco (no shell) 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walked 3. How much weight did you lose? 9 lbs! most of that was water weight from the hospital. Total loss? 103 lbs gone forever!!! 4. What was your biggest challenge? eating, still no appetite to speak of, no cravings either. 5. You had to have a WOW moment by now, what's your favorite? Playing on the water slides, and being able to climb the stairs getting to them. *Fun bonus question: Do you have/plan to get that little black dress for New Years? Still won't be small enough for that little black dress, and not even sure of NYE plans as of yet, usually go to a party with friends.

Friday Five - Weekly Update! 1. What types of food did you eat this week? poached eggs, potatoes, happy meal hamburger (only about 1/2 & no fries), baked chicken 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? walking 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? 2 lbs this week - 50 1/2 total 4. What was your biggest challenge? Not munching (I had one of THOSE weeks) 5. You had to have a WOW moment by now, what's your favorite? I walked into the building at work and saw a reflection in the glass door. I thought it was someone else. When I realized it was me, it felt great because I didn't see an overweight person. *Fun bonus question: Do you have/plan to get that little black dress for New Years? Probably not because my husband and I are pretty low key on New Years. We usually stay home. But, who knows? It might be nice to get all dressed up for my husband. 1. What types of food did you eat this week? Burrito meat/cheese on a small flour tortilla (ate hardly any tortilla), Italian baked chicken, grilled chicken salad, broccoli, green beans... I love vegetables these days. 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? Not much, sad to say... Since the snow hit, I haven't had much motivation/opportunity to go out jogging so I'm going to go back to Curves for a while. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? about 4-5 lbs... 70 lbs since surgery, almost 85 total 4. What was your biggest challenge? I had the flu for a few days so didn't eat much and felt nauseated most of the time. 5. You had to have a WOW moment by now, what's your favorite? Oh, I don't know if I could pick just one... probably the subtle looks/comments by others. When I look in the mirror and see a "normal" sized person. I mean, I'm still overweight. I've go tlike 40-50 lbs to go but I feel almost average and I feel sexy pretty often. I think my biggest wow moment was when I was able to shop in the Misses dept and try on "regular" size clothes. I'm wearing size 14 jeans today and a Medium sweater.... is that crazy or what?!?! *Fun bonus question: Do you have/plan to get that little black dress for New Years? I totally would if I had somewhere to wear it to. I'm not sure of NYE plans yet... but it's definitely a possibility!! I'm hoping to be a size 10 by Christmas... but that might be pushing it! lol

1. What types of food did you eat this week? Last week I totally changed up my foods- and it sure paid off, as I lost three pounds! I ate homemade Turkey chili with more kidney beans than tomatoes; homemade crab cakes with fat-free sour cream and used phyllo for crusts; made sernicki and had two for a one-cup meal with fresh strawberry and blueberries on top; and very lean pork loin taco with fat-free sour cream, fat-free refried beans, tomatoes, onion, and 1% fat shredded cheddar all rolled up in a romaine lettuce leaf! 2. What types of exercise did you do this week? At the club, did weight-lifting, speed-walking on treadmill , and elliptical. Also did yoga Pilates. 3. How much weight did you lose? Total loss? Three pounds as of Monday (weigh day) for 71 total! 4. What was your biggest challenge? Keeping so busy I'd forget to eat one of the three one-cup meals. 5. You had to have a WOW moment by now, what's your favorite?So many WOW moments, the hugest being I stand in front of full-length mirror without slacks on, and can now see all space between the thighs! Sunday was annual extended-family Christmas gathering, and the WOWs were tons of compliments by aunts, uncles, and cousins! *Fun bonus question: Do you have/plan to get that little black dress for New Years? New Year's is not a big deal to me, even having lost 70 lbs. However, I do have a new size ten petite little black dress I wore to the Minnesota state annual gala November 10.
