Hi Miss Crystal! You are definitely not alone. Mine started falling out about the 3rd month. I've started using Nioxin and I can tell a difference (of course, it could be all in my head). When I told my hairdresser I was using it, he was very pleased. So, obviously he's heard good things. I've heard that it will pass, so hang in there! Best wishes, Deanna

Mine is coming out too. My hubby put a little piece of screen in the shower b/c I was plugging up the drain. I have to clean it off twice now during my shower. I have been using Nioxin and taking biotin for about a month now. My hair dresser has told me that while my hair is thinning she is already seeing regrowth so I'm just hoping that this continues and I don't get a bald spot.

I have been losing my hair for about a month, and I don't have the extra to lose! I already have thin hair on the top. It is feeling really thin & I am plugging the drains too. I have always liked to get highlights so my scalp isn't so noticeable, but my hairdresser talked me into going a little darker for the winter (still keep highlights on the top). i have also started to use Nioxin shampoo/Conditioner and my hairdresser told me that the shampoo/conditioner give you about 50% of the benefit and the other 50% comes from the leave in treatment, so I recently added that. Also, if you have a Sally Beauty Supply, you can get the off brand there cheaper. I think it is called Nutri-Ox. It does seem that the losing has slowed some and I can feel some new growth coming in, feels like stubble on my head.

Hi I noticed your post about hair loss. I just posted on the pa boards. I too am struggling with hair loss. In the shower it comes out in long strands and when I brush. I have thick natural curly hair but is getting really thin. I just went for haircut and color and my hairdresser told me a didnt even need it cut!!!! She told me it will grow back and be patient. Do you think the shampoo works?? I just brought it today at Sally's Beauty. For $7.00 a bottle I hope it works. Thanks for listening, Nancy
