SO, my hair is starting to really fall out a lot now, especially when I wash/bru**** Is anyone else experiencing this? I had a LOT of hair to begin with so it hasn't made me look like a freak or anything, but it definitely has me concerned. My hair feels so much thinner to me and I'm wondering how long this is supposed to last? Is anyone else experiencing this?

hiya, Yes, I too am having this problem. It is soooo scary, isn't it? My hair dresser recommended this product, it was $40.00 and I don't see any difference so I won't even recommend it to you. I can tell you that my friends on the NY board have reassured me that this will pass and it will grow back in another 3 months or so regardless of how much protein you try to take in . Good luck, Thankfully, I too was blessed with too much hair to begin with...so most people can't really tell, but I defininitely see the difference! Maryellen

I am 4 months out and mine is falling out to. I am like you I have a lot of hair so not to bad yet. I wondered the same thing how much longer? My mom is constantly picking hair off my clothes and my hubby is freaking out about it. I hope it stops soon. Sundra

I'm loosing not only weight but hair too! I asked the Dr yesterday at my gallbladder post op check-up yesterday. He said biotin helps some people, but with all I've been through it's a natural thing. I'm going to the hairdresser today and might cut it a bit shorter ... hubby wasn't happy to hear that though! Jan

Yeah, I'm not wanting to cut off my length. I've always loved having my long blonde hair but I'm debating about a shoulder cut to prevent at least some loss. I don't have a hubby so I don't have to worry about that, but I've always loved my hair and now it's disappearing along with me! lol I think I'll just stick it out, keep the protein/calcium up and do what I can!

Aloha Miss Crystal.....I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone. You had surgery just a week before me. I was thinking I was going to avoid the hair loss thing, but just a few days ago I noticed blond hairs in my shower, and now when I run my fingers through my hair it feels thinner, and I KNOW it's falling out. I'm so bummed. My hairdresser has told me I have thick hair, so I'm hoping it's thick enough to get me through this without looking like a freak, or having to get a wig. It's way too hot in Hawaii to wear a wig! Thankfully everyone says this is temporary.....I sure hope so! Thanks for sharing. Aloha nui loa, KarenS

Oh I WISH I were in Hawaii right now!! It was 12 degrees when I left for work at 7:30 this morning!! We have about 6 inches of snow on the ground, too!! Yeah, I started noticing the hair loss about 3 weeks ago in the shower only, but now it's on my clothes and brush, too! It's coming out a lot but like I said, my hairdresser and everyone has always said I have a LOT of hair - not necessarily thick in size, but a LOT of it. I could almost see my hairdresser cringe when I'd get highlights cause it takes like 3 hours to do it all, lol. So, I'm hoping that'll be my saving grace. I think my hair now is like what the average person has in volume, so I'm not freaking out but I'm worried that if I KEEP losing like I have been, it'll start to look really bad. I just want to know how long it will last!! Thanks for responding!!
