Looking for size 18, anyone have some???
Hi all, I am looking for size 18 dress pants, dress shirts and a winter coat. The Vice President at my company commented again that the stuff I am wearing is simply hanging and being held on by safety pins. Ok, I get the message.
I have checked the clothing exchange without luck for my work clothes. Does anyone have any they are ready to get rid of?

It would be my greatest desire to have size 18's that were to big for me....LOL
Ive lost over 100 lbs and IM just now down to a 2x or a 26tall in pants. I do know how expensive it is to get new clothes though. I started at a 32 and now when I put on those pants they come up over my boobs...lol
Wish I had someone around here that had extra 2x's.

Mariah-
HA...I was wrong! So I went shopping over the weekend and decided to try on some black pants (which I desperately need for work). The 28s were too big...so I guess I am in 26 just like you! Of course, there weren't any 26s in the style I wanted...and I couldn't bring myself to spend $50 on them...so I'm still safety pinning my black pants this week! (I didn't have the guts to try on the 24s....I hate that "it's too small" feeling.)
Glad Christmas is around the corner...I think I'm getting gift certificates for clothing stores!

Diana, for clothing exchange, I'd suggest checking with your local WLS support groups for suggestions and locations. Otherwise, I cannot help you, as I get rid of everything as I shrink out of them, and take them to a thrift store near my home. Honestly, it's worth checking out a thrift store or Goodwill. Have bought very nice inexpensive nicely-fitting clothes especially, at a local thrift shop. It's important we take pride in ourselves with our ever-shrinking bodies; we truly deserve looking great and feeling great, both which do wonders for our self-esteem. Realistically, all you need are a couple skirts or pairs of slacks and several tops to mix and match to expand the temporary wardrobe. Best of luck to you as you dress to express your success!
