Babies, babies, and more babies.....
Aloha my WLS friends.....I'm up early (5:30 a.m.) and have a few moments to myself before I'm surrounded by babies again. My son, dil and their two babies (8 mos. and 27 mos) are here and I've been learning how to be a tutu (Grandma in Hawaiian). They live in Calif. so I don't see them often, and this is the first time I met the littlest baby, Brady. What a little chunk 'o baby! Oh, such good munching......fat little arms and legs, and a toothy grin (two teeth) that would melt the hardest heart.
I will be chief cook, bottle washer, and babysitter for the next three days while my BIG kids go partying in Lahaina and to a wedding in Honolulu. This tutu will have her hands full. Anyone want to come and help me?? HELP!! Where is my "tutu's handbook??"
One good thing about have babies galore is that I've lost several pounds since they've been here. I forget to eat!! Barely getting down a protein shake and remembering to drink lots of water.
Just had to come in and share my adventure with my bestest buds in here. I know you can all relate!
Aloha nui loa,
KarenS
Omigod! I could certainly use you, and would LOVE it if you were here. I am a "tutu in training" and will have to just sort of wing it when I have both babies for two days all by myself. I will take your advice and sleep when they do. I take naps every day, so I'm hoping they will, too.
I'll let you know after this is over how it went.
Thanks so much.
Aloha nui loa,
Karen
