Since my RNY on 7/10 - I lost 46 lbs. I am 54 years old and verically challenge at 5'0" - considered as a light weight WL patient - I started at 215 lb and now a trim 169 lbs. I 'm losing a healthy loss weight of 1 1/2 - 2 lbs per week which the surgeon says is right (on target for goal weight of 115 lbs ) for me. Marleen

My surgery was on July 25th and I am down 55 to 60 pounds. I go Wednesday for my 3 month check-up. At two weeks out I was down 23 pounds. Since then the drastic weightloss has slowed down but I is continous. I am wearing clothes that I thought I would never get back in. Jewelry (rings) that my spouse bought that I refused to has sized now fit again. I am happy with my weightloss thus far. Although I have to admit I have felt the same as you. You read posts or profiles of others who have lost so much in the same amount of time and you question if what you are doing is right. Are you eating right, drinking right etc. But I have learned that it isn't a race and that my body will let it go at it's on pace. But from reading all of the posts we all are right where we should be. We are doing awesome.
