1. Surgery date: July 24, 2006 2. Lbs. lost: 46 pounds (I know I am a slow loser, but better to be in the race than out of it) 3. Main source of protein: AES Protien Shakes, AES Protien bar, shrimp, tuna, chicken, peanut butter, cottage cheese, string cheese snacks. 4. How much water are you getting in?: about 50 ozs a day 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes 6. What vitamins are you taking? GNC liquid multi-vitamins, B-12, calcium. 7. Any hair loss? Just starting. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? We have a gym here at work and I just started today working with a trainer. He is being really helpful.

Main source of protein: Shakes (tho rarely now), PureProtien bars, chicken, shrimp, yogurt, nuts, cottage cheese, cheese, Carb Countdown milk and snow crab legs. 4. How much water are you getting in?: Anywhere from 68 oz to 100 oz 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes, I've got a routine down finally! 6. What vitamins are you taking? 2 Flintstone chewables a day, Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate Cinnamon lozenges w/Vit D, B12 sublinqual every other day, gallstone med - Ursodiol - twice a day, Bariatric Advantage chewable Iron w/Vit C once a day and Osteo Bi-Flex once a day (glucosamine chondroitin). 7. Any hair loss? No, not so far. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? I've been lifting weights with a personal trainer twice a week, walking to pick up my son from school and back (about 2 miles)andwalking on the treadmill for about 40 minutes 2-3x/week. I've tried a couple classes at the gym - I liked the deep water workout, I was surprised at how much a workout it was!!! Take care, Sue

Main source of protein: rotisserie chicken, jerky, power crunch bars, hanks protein shake, string cheese, thai chicken lean cuisine, nuts, ff milk. 4. How much water are you getting in?: Approx. 65 +oz. a day 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes 6. What vitamins are you taking? Isotonix ( powder mixed with water, expenive, but I think worth it) 7. Any hair loss? Yes, lots of hair in the shower and i find it all over me... yikes!. 8. Walking, can't wait to go back to Curves starting the 17th. I'm happy, feel fantastic, tons of energy. My average weight loss has been 13 lbs a month. If I can do that, I can make my goal of -250 by 18 months. Julie in WA

Aloha Julie......Wow, you are doing so great!! You have lost almost double what I have, but I'm not giving up! I think I'm going to join Curves, too. I did that a couple years ago, and gave up on it, but this time I have more motivation and I think it will help get me off the dreaded plateau I've been on. Hello Karen, This is a great idea. What a fabulous way for us to get to know each other better and inspire all at the same time. Here goes my stats. 1. Surgery date: July 3, 2006 2. Lbs. lost: 63 3. Main source of protein: Nectar-Fuzzy Naval, cheese, chili, still have trouble with meats (they make me throw up everytime I eat them) 4. How much water are you getting in? Not sure but it's a lot 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes, but some days are better than others. 6. What vitamins are you taking? 2 Flintstones Complete, 2 prenatal vitamins with iron, 1 B-12, 1 A & D, 2 Calciums, 2 Hair, Skin, & Nails, 2 B-complex, 2 Vitamin C (I know it sounds like a lot but hey, it's working for me.) 7. Any hair loss? Just a few but I also have new growth. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? I am working out with walking DVD

How much water are you getting in?: Approx. 32 oz. a day 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: can do better 6. What vitamins are you taking? Mulit Vitamins, calcium, b12 (1 a week), iron 7. Any hair loss? a little shedding. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? Deep water aerobics, walking, weight training (3 x per week)

Main source of protein: skim milk, fish, more fish, some ground turkey, rarely chicken, and sometimes beef. shakes sometimes, but right now the though makes me want to gag. 4. How much water are you getting in?: not enough, we'll leave it at that. 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Trying to. I hate my new viatmins, I'm going back to chewables. 6. What vitamins are you taking? Building Blocks - 1 MV and 3 CAlcium in the morning and at night, and 1 MV and an Iron at lunch 7. Any hair loss? Not really. I uesd to shed a lot when I was closer to a normal weight. I've lost hair, but that's because I wasn't relally losing it when I was at my highest weight. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? Pilates every Tues/Thurs, Turbo Kick every Mon/Fri, and walking or weight lifting on the weekends. Wednesday is full of work and school, so I don't get to go to the gym.

Main source of protein: Unjury Unflavored powder mixed with Swiss Miss Fat Free Hot Chocolate (1x a day), beef jerky, Wendy's Chili, 2% Mild Cheddar Cheese, Turkey Pepporoni (every other day), Chicken, Progresso soups 4. How much water are you getting in?: About 32 oz and slowly increasing. Surgeon requires 32. 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes 6. What vitamins are you taking? 2 Flintstone chewables a day, Tums plus Calcium citrate (Surgeon recommended), B12 sublinqual every other day 7. Any hair loss? Just begun slight shedding, so celebrating hitting Onederland with a permanent and haircut on October 17th. The volume and cut will 'hide' the loss I know I can expect. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? Walk a bit, started doing sumo squats and arm exercises, but nothing hardcore lately. Watching for used weight benches to help with that.

Great Job everyone!!!! Even if some of us are slow losers at least we are still "losers", I'm so happy the scale is going in the right direction finally even though slower than I had hoped, but at least its not going UP!!!! 1. Surgery date: July 28, 2006 (day after my real bday) 2. Lbs. lost: 11 before wls and 34 since wls a total of 46 pounds~~ 3. Main source of protein: Skinless chicken, profect protein vile, some cheese, ground beef. 4. How much water are you getting in?: Approx. 64-80 oz. a day 5. Are you keeping up with your vitamins/calcium, etc.: Yes 6. What vitamins are you taking? 4 optisouce bariatic chewable vitamins a day and 1 citrical 7. Any hair loss? Not so far. 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? Try to get in my callanetic tape 3 times a week and go for walks dailly!! Keep up the great work every and thanks for sharing you success!!!!!

How much water are you getting in?: not enough maybe 40oz/day (working on it) 5. Are you keeping up with vitamins etc?: yes! 6. what vitamins are you taking? b12shot-1/month, chewable multi vit/minerals, calcium chew, vita greens liquid, iron. 7. Any hair loss? not yet 8. What kind of exercise are you doing? Disco Blast off with Richard Simons (lol) it's fun 3 or 4x/week. at least 1/2 hr. walk/day. arm toning with weights every day. Congrats everyone on your successes! I love my new life!! Hugs to everyone!! Heather (it's getting ccccold up here in Canada)
