Anyone else slow loser like me?
40 pounds since 7/13 - my doctor says that's less than his average. Since I went 3 weeks without losing weight I guess I'm not a slow loser. Have you had stalls - or are you consistently losing weight? My doctor tested my metabolism when I wasn't losing and told me to eat a more when I hit a stall because I actually have "faster than normal" metabolism. That was quite a surprise!
I felt like a slow looser too. Then I took the batteries out of the scale and found someone to take my measurements. Man, did I feel better after that.
How are your clothes feeling? Getting to the point you just want to throw them away because they are so baggy? Enjoy that feeling! Try not to be discouraged by the scale. I have ALWAYS hated mine, and even though I am loosing now, I still hate it. Remember and scale is not a woman's best friend.
Good luck and congrats on being a LOOSER, even with slower loss.

Yep, slow loser here as well-- July 25th and have lost 28 pounds since.
Just wondering, if you are a lightweight like me-- which means you had around 120 pounds of excess weight to lose? If so, the 'lightweights' always lose slower than the average WLS patient and shouldn;t feel bad! Though it is frustrating. ;)
Yep, I am definitely a slow loser. I had a 3 week stall last month, which did not help. My clothes are not fitting any differently, either, and I'm having to work at not getting discouraged BUT even slow loss is loss, and maybe it means that our skin will have time to keep up so we won't be quite so saggy and baggy . . .
