2. What are you doing for exercise? I walk a lot, especially while shopping. I need to improve in my exercising program though. I also swim.

6. What do you ususally eat within the course of a day? I usually have a 4 oz yogurt in the morning, with all my supps. By lunch I nibble on a turkey & cheese sandwich or a baked potato. For Dinner, we usually have some sort of grilled chicken and a veggie. I'm eating 2 ozs of regular food right now. For dessert, I eat Sugar Free Fudgesicles, Popcicles, or Italian Ice. I had LAP RNY on July 14th.
1. How much have you lost? 38 lbs
2. What are you doing for exercise? walking A LOT and weights
3. Are you having any problems/ complications? Certain foods (pork products, except for bacon) seem to bother me, so I stay away from them, but the only other problem is eating too fast. I've had my bouts with that, but otherwise, it's been smooth sailing!
4. How much protein have you been getting in? 60g a day faithfully!
5. How much water/ liquids have you been getting in? 64oz max a day. Some days are better than others.
6. What do you ususally eat within the course of a day? Protein shake in the morning, protein bars, cottage cheese, turkey chili, string cheese. I CRAVE crackers, so I got wheat-thins veggie flavored baked (60% less fat) and eat 5 now and then, but try not to make a habit out of it.
I drink a lot of iced tea, decaf coffee, and crystal light.
Hope everyone is doing well!!!

1. How much have you lost? Counting preop weightloss- 47 pds post op only: 30 pds
2. What are you doing for exercise? walking right now, I'm hoping to get cleared for swimming soon.
3. Are you having any problems/ complications? None that I'm aware of. I've had some head hunger issues, some problems getting in protien and 64 oz water. But no REAL problems.
4. How much protein have you been getting in? as much as I can. I dislike the drinks but I get about 20-35 out of my reccomended 40
5. How much water/ liquids have you been getting in? 50- 64 oz
6. What do you ususally eat within the course of a day? Corn beef hash for breakfast, egg salad or tuna salad for lunch, cheese for a snack or meal depending on if I'm hungry. Dinner is variable. I usually try to mush down whatever I'm making my family into something edible for me. I always try to eat protien first, but it's been difficult within the constraints of the soft food diet.
What a great idea. Thanks for putting this out there. I needed this!
My surgery was July 5th
1. How much have you lost? 38 lbs
2. What are you doing for exercise? Some walking, not enough.
3. Are you having any problems/ complications?
Had a stricture, fixed on Aug 7, have been okay, not great, since. Still cannot tolerate meats.
4. How much protein have you been getting in?
1st thing in the morning, I have 60g protein shake (choc GNC Amplify). I haven't been keeping track of the rest. But I figure I probably get in about 20 more throughout rest of the day.
5. How much water/ liquids have you been getting in?
Not enough. Including my shake, I probably get about 30-40 oz. I can't drink water the way I use to. I am working on it though.
6. What do you ususally eat within the course of a day?
Mostly soups, bean & potato with a little bit of oyster crackers. I find that a baked potato, mashed potatoes and refried beans ALL CARBS, do not make me sick as other things do. I've tried eggs, tuna & chix salad, chix, fish, & other things, but they just don't sit well with me yet. I know I also need to work on this.

2. What are you doing for exercise? Swimming for 30 minutes
3. Are you having any problems/ complications? Nope!
4. How much protein have you been getting in? Between 50-70g (working towards 90g)
5. How much water/ liquids have you been getting in? 64oz...that includes the protein shakes/drinks
6. What do you ususally eat within the course of a day? 3 meals a day...ranges from p-nut butter w/banana, tuna fish on cracker, cheese, beans, chicken, applesauce...I'm not needing much variety at this point. If I get too adventurous I tend to
Thanks for putting this out there! It's interesting to see where everyone is at!
