Feeling bette!!!!
Hello everyone. Well I am 4 weeks post op...and loosing weight so I feel great about that! I am having trouble with trying foods and keeping them down, so my nutritionist said stick to the broths and fluids and gradually try things soft...egg salad has worked and tuna salad.....BUT, a can of tuna lasts for days!!!! I chopped up chicken and threw it in my broth to try and get my protein. I get a little worried about that. But I am starting to feel better, and starting to look better (so people tell me!) I am thankful to have had the surgery and cant wait to be a few more onths post op to see where I am really at! God Bless everyone...Have a great day!
Another trick to trying foods....only take a few bites of one new food at a time. Wait...see how your body reacts and then proceed accordingly. Also remember that your body may tolerate a food one day and not the next. Eggs can go either way for me at this point....just depends on the day.
