Hello everone, I had surgery on Tuesday and came home yesterday (thursday). I can't believe how hard it is to just get down 4oz of carnation instance breakfast and I have never slept so much in my life. Is anyone else taking a lot of naps? I feel bad about sleeping so much but the deal I made with myself is to give myself until Monday when the drains and staples are removed. I am trying to sit up as much as possible and walk around the house because it is to hot outside. I'm going to get rid of my three and nine year old tommorrow because they want to jump around all the time and I feel so mean. Well, that's it for now. Is my stomach supoosed to be making a gurgly sound evreytime I drink somehing? Hope all is well with everyone else!!! I love you all and wish you all blessings beyond all that you can ask or think!

I definately felt that way when I came home i never felt more lazy from sleeping all the time!! I definately was taking a lot of naps but cut it down around the second week. MY stomach gurgled for a few days when i drank water but it eventually went away! Good luck and keep up the great work Sondra

I am a little over 3 weeks out and my tummy still gurgles when I drink. I asked my Dr. what it was and if it was normal, he said that it is the liquid hitting the intestins and it moving down. The sounds are completely normal so don't worry. You will also have more energy as time goes on. You had major surgery and your body needs the rest to heal itself. Just get your rest and make sure you get your water and protein in it will help with the fatigue. Congrats girl your a loser now! Kim
