sorry it took soo long....
Hello all! I am out of the hospital, I stayed one extra night just for my own comfort. I had a smooth operation w/no complications, nausea, etc. Each nurse shift was amazed at how much I walked ( I wasnt trying to break any records, I just had engrained in my mind to walk walk walk those blood clots out of my legs.) what I'm trying to say is that my clear mind scared the hell out of my drug induced mind about blood clots 
I started really passing gas about 2 this am and didnt stop for 4 hours so I am feeling sooo much better, im gonna try to go w/out my pain meds unless absolutely necessary. I have rashes around the surgery field area that are killing me, but hey i survived major surgery, Ill survive this
I am posting this on the Cali message board as well since I got such an outpouring of support from them thanks to Terri.
