Yes I'm talking to you! You've come so far. Whether you're learning about Weight Loss Surgery, Post-Op, or just trying to get a handle on your situation with some great people to help you through. You've struggled with your weight for long enough. You've been teased, embarassed, and even harassed. Don't worry, you know what's best for you and you, my friend, have made the right choice.
If you're pre-op and the nerves are building and you're trying your best to get through this restricted diet, hang in there! You're only a short time away from making the change of a lifetime, and I do mean Lifetime! You should be proud that you've come to the point to realize that you're missing out on some of life's greatest pleasures and are willing to work your A** off to make sure that you have just the chance to live. I don't mean live as in breathe, I mean the type of living that you do when you throw cares to the breeze and try something you've never done before or were prevented from doing. You're going to do great. Keep your head high, just do what you know you're supposed to do and everything will be alright. We're all here for you, we're all proud of you, and you are proud of you!
If you're post-op, I'm proud of you for being a role model. You've learned how to change your life for the better and instead of hiding or forgetting where you came from, you've shared your life, and your triumphs, and your struggles. I'm proud of you for falling off the wagon! I'm proud that you're still human, but still have the sense to realize that you have the tool for success and get back on the trail again.
Congratulations! You are an amazing person! You're beautiful inside and outside. I bet you're even beautiful upside-down or backwards too. You've come a long way. I'm proud of you.
(I'm feeling really good about myself today, and thought that perhaps someone else needed this too.)
