I'm home from surgery!

Hi Dee, WOW it was so wonderful to read that you were home for the hospital after 24 hours. Also, to see that you were up and out of the house after being home one day that is so great. I see from what you wrote that walking, walking, and more walking is the key. I still have three weeks before my surgery(8-7-06) so I think I will start walking now. Congrats Rosemaire on your upcoming surgery. Believe me walking is probably the last thing that you want to do. But it has to be done, the earlier the better. Those gas pain can be horrible. I still have some gas pain (still only 4 days out) but it is much better than the first couple of day. So remember in addition to getting your liquids in, it is equally important to walk. Dee
