I am a LOSER!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone,
First, let me Thank each and everyone that said a prayer, wished me luck or just thought of me on the 12th.Surgery started at 8:00 a.m. and was done by 9:50 a.m. Yes,that seems like a long time, but then I like for my Doctors to really give me there time since I am paying them sooooooooo much....just kidding! I have obstructive sleep apnea and it takes me awhile to figure out that I NEED to breath.I had Gall Bladder surgery on March 31, and thats when they figured out that I need special attention when being put to sleep. My daughter ask my Dr. to be sure and watch my Blood Oxygen and he assured her that he would.EVERYTHING went great.... I am home now and doing great. I was discharged from the hospital on the 14th.That was a nice birthday present for my hubby I don't have any pain, just the gas feeling.
From what I understand it will soon pass(no pun intended).I still get confused on what I need to eat. I had it all figured out before surgery, then they put me to sleep, and now I can't remember anything! I am NOT hungry and don't really want to eat, but know that I have to.The eating part is tough, but I will get it figured out again.
For those of you fixing to go into surgery....RELAX...Easier said than done!!! I was totally at peace when I was wheeled into the surgery room. All my fears seemed to stay in the hall.I haven't weighed yet beacuse I don't feel like going on that ride just yet. Again,Thank you for all the well wishes. I will post more later.
