PRE-OP APPT & PATs @ HOSPITAL

Hi, everybody! I had my day at the hospital yesterday. All the PATs done and saw the DR for pre-op instructions. Then saw the nutritionist for her instructions. Then I saw the hospital and the anesthesiologist. Phew!! It was a very busy day. But now I am done. My looseleaf binder that I used since beginning my quest for WLS is 5" thick! LOL. I got copies of all the reports from the specialists and the clearance letters so that my story would be complete. Now I am on clear liquids through the surgery and for 1 week post-op until I see the doc and nut. again. WEDNESDAY is my big day. I am in the hospital by 5:30 a.m. and surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. I will be home Thursday or Friday, depending on how I feel physically and mentally. I am confident I will be fine and home on Thursday. I am in the best possible hands for my choice of surgeon and the hospital, its staff and reputation are all excellent!! So if I can just calm down to get through Wednesday, I will be fine. I am a wreck anyway. giggle giggle. I read all the recent "surgery grads" posts and am so excited to join that club. YEAH!!!! HOOOOOOOOOORAY!!! 5 days and counting. ShelleyAnne

i am on the exact same schedule as you! Had my pre-op stuff on friday, surgery on wednesday at 7:30. I have to be there at 5:30. I'll get to go home thursday or friday too. Good Luck!!!!!!
