Fleet Phospho anyone?

Hi, Tomorrows my surgery day and today I get the pleasure of a clear liquid diet and a complete system purge using Fleet Phospho soda. So fun!! not. I've been on liquids for 8 days, so there's not a lot in my system to begin with. A tip.... if you're going to do this treatment, purchase a package of the best toilet paper you can find! I'm talking about the kind with lotion in it because you're bottoms going to be seeing a lot of action! ;) Amy 18 more hours!!!

Amy i would have killed to drink the fleet phospho stuff my surgeon had me drink the co -lyte ... 1 gallon of nasty S#i$ had to drink 8 ounces every 10 min till that thing was gone !!! i think that was worse than the surgery .. best of luck to you tomorrow see ya on the loosing side Missy

A couple of tricks about the Fleet ****tail... Pour 4 oz of 7 up in a measuring cup and mix in the 1.5 oz bottle of Fleet.... Make sure the 7up is cold, too. Chug a lug... fast! No nasty taste and no time to smell it. Also a good idea to keep some lotion or vaseline handy. Once the "wash" cycle is done, uh, um, giggle, your butt will be sore, then if you need to do a second one for the "rinse" cycle, uh, um, giggle, it's not so bad and you can keep applying the vaseline or lotion. The best kind of toilet paper is the Charmin Plus that has the aloe, E and chammomile in it. It doesn't crumble and leave little clingons on your butt. We won't use anything else but that in our house. It makes everything so NICE! We even take it to hotels with us, we're that obsessed about keeping the tushy nice and happy.

I had to take milk of magnesia the day before my surgery. And yes, my bottom was soooo sore! It helps to put some vaseline type stuff on it when you wipe. Good luck with your surgery!
