I HAVE A DATE.....JULY 17.....

Hello everyone... I am new to the board but have been faithfully reading for months now. I am scheduled for open d-switch and let me tell ya I am so excited but so scared all in the same breath. I am married with 3 children ages 7, 6, and 16 months. I guess I worry about them more than myself. There are so many what ifs with surgery even though I know in my heart this will make my life so much better. Is anyone else out there scheduled for d-switch this month? If so, id love to hear from you!!!!!

Congrats!!! We have the same date!! But I'm having lap RNY. I know the feeling about worring about the children more I also have 3 ages 4, 2, & 1. Good Luck Tina
