I got my surgery date today

Im so excited as u all can imagine. Im going to have my surgery on July 12th. I know the next 3 weeks will just fly by. I think Im ready all but the nutrition class and some pre op testing. Ater they surgery my husband will have to go to CA for a few days for his job so Im going to stay with my parents. God help them. I hope Im not to CRabby. Well I wanted to introduce myself to the group here. Im 42 and Ive been married for almost 2 yrs now. My husband and I have a cat and 6 fish. Im probably to old to have kids but when the weight comes off we might discuss that further. Right now Ive not had a sex drive for the last 3 yrs. I have PCOS and abnoral cells, and I dont have much of a cycle. Im hoping the wt loss will clear alot of that up for me and I can feel like a normal woman again. Im from the midwest. I grew up outside of Cincinnati and now Im living near Indianapolis. Im having my surgery at St. Vincents in Carmel Indiana. Dr Cacucci is my Bariatic surgeon. Congratulations Mariah! I know your excitement! I just got my date scheduled for July 14th, and I can't wait either! I'm from Iowa, and I certainly can relate to your "no sex drive" but mine's been gone for probably 5 years. My poor husband is getting tired of chasing me I think! LOL Seriously, I'm hoping this WLS will change my life and be a great tool to helping me get back the life I've been missing for so long! AGAIN, CONGRATS!!!

Hi Mariah, I am waiting to schedule and in the middle of preop stuff, but wanted to reply about the PCOS> I was initially diagnosed as a 16yr old. I lost weight in my 20's (medifast with 100lbs off) and then, my precious son came to join us! In the mid 1990's I lost weight again (phen-fen with 120lbs off) and then my precious daughter made our family complete! If children are in your heart, then this weight loss in the presence of PCOS is very successful. Best of luck with all your endeavors. MaryG
