Thanks again!
Melissa-
We're date twins! I'm feeling the same way you are...nervous but excited. I have a ton going on right up until the day of surgery, so I'm blessed to have that distraction (although moving and having family in town can be a bit stressful!).
Email me anytime....I'm usually lurking on the VA board if you can't find me here.

Melissa, My surgery is the 17th, so I will Try to connect with this message board as soon as I feel up to it while still in the hospital. My surgeon did an endoscopy and colonoscopy on me today. I was glad to connect with him another time before surgery. Will you see your surgeon again before your surgery?
Hey Melissa,
I go in on July 3rd for my surgery and when I get home I would be more than glad to let you know what I experienced. You have to keep in mind that what one person experiences isn't neccesarily what another will experience.
Keep in touch and I will be here for you. Keep the faith and know that God is good all the time. He will keep you and give you the peace you need.
Lots of Love

Melissa-
I think you are probably feeling the same angst we are all feeling. A witches brew of excited, scared, nervous and overwhelmed. All of that is very normal.
The surgery is a leap of faith and courage to start with. Then when you add in the fact some of us will be very far from friends and family when we have surgery, it is very easy to see how we could get a little cookoo (clinical term).
Just try to stay busy and stay healthy and your day will be here before you know it.
