Room for one more? Date Changed

Hi everyone, My surgery date has just been changed from June 22 to July 18th, so I thought I would stop in and say hi! My iron level was too low to do the surgery So, now I have to wait a month for the levels to come up and they have to make sure that there isn't an internal bleed or something else going on. Were both going to start our new journey togetherI'm having mine on the 18 th of July too. Only 27 days left. My Doctor's ofc. called yesterday asking if I want to have surgery today. I was like Noooo way!!! I couldn't just pick up and leave everything in one day. And my family is having a hugh reunion this weekend. It will be my last Hurrah!!!!! Keep in touch. Kathi

Hello Dee, I know it must be so discouraging to have it postpone like that. I would be so bummed out but sometimes things happen for the best. You need to know that everything is okay with you before you enter something as serious as a gastric bypass. So just bare with it and look at the bright side........you get to hang out with all us July BABIES!!! That's gotta give you something to smile about. Hang tight and keep the faith. There is always a reason for everything. I know there is a reason for this even though we may never know what it was. God's hand is everywhere and He keeps us in His watchful eye.
