Hey All You July BABIES!!!

Hey Kathy: It's coming fast girl. When your having your surgery, I'll be having a stress test. I'm having the one where they inject you with a drug. The lady who called me from the hospital informed me that it's a 2 day test. I'll have to go back on July5th for them to take some more pictures of my heart while its at rest. You'll be in the hospital for the 4th so I hope you get a room with a view so you might get to see a few fire works. I'm so happy for you. Your on your way to the losers bench. Hi Kathy, Good luck on your upcoming day.My date is July12,and talk about emotions I am on an emotional roller coaster here. I am so ready for my day to get here,but I am scared,worried and anything else that I can think of I know its for my health and I am so ready to be on the losing end. I want to feel alive and do the things I haven't been able to do in a long time.Get back to us as soon as you can and tell us how you are doing. My prayers and thoughts will be right there with you on July 3rd. May you have an uneventful surgery and quick recovery. Barbara

Hi Kathy: My date is July 31,2006. Boy does that seem far away. I'm nervous yet anxious. I see the doctor on July 26th. I quess thats when he'll tell me to be on a liquid diet 3 days prior to my surgery. I've not heard anything about that yet. I'm so excited and hopeful that my surgery will be uneventful. I've got to focus on getting some things done around this house. I still have 7 children at home. I hope they are good when I get home and don't feel so well. Does anyone know if we'll come home with a drainage bag? Let me know. Good luck to all and my prayers will be with you. Gloria

Hi Barbara, Thank you so much for the good wishes on my surgery. Everything is going to be fine. Just calm down and regroup. You're going to do just fine. We all are and yes I will hurry back and let you all know how I did. Looks like I get to go first since July 3 is the first weekday in July. I feel honored that I get to go first. I will come back on Thursday or Friday and let you all know how things went. As soon as I am comfortable at the computer. What a wonderful adventure we are about to embark upon. This is going to be the most wonderful experience of our life. I have battled my weight my entire adult life and to think that I can (through this surgery) be normal and healthy. I can't believe it July is finally here. Yessss! For all you who are going in front of me, you'll be in my prayers. I'll be hanging out waiting for the month to end because it ends with my surgery on the 31st. I went today and bought a new robe for the hospital and a couple more pair of those tummy shaper underwear. I remember how much they helped the last time I had stomach surgery. I also bought a dress from the sale rack at Catherines two sizes smaller than I wear now. That will be my first goal because I refuse to buy a scale, I'll drive myself crazy. That will be my present to myself after I've lost 50pounds. I wish everybody a happy and joyful 4th of July. Whoever has their surgery first, you go! Still weighting, Gloria
