Was worried about anesthesia...

I feel better now! I had an outpatient procedure done under general anesthesia yesterday, and woke up feeling great! As in let's do that again!!! Of course, it was a lot shorter than WLS, only half an hour, but it didn't make me puke! Which was my number one fear, closely followed by saying something stupid, and then distantly followed by some life threatening even... My DH says I need to get my priorities straight, but I say let's worry about the most likely event, not the remote stuff! Anyway just 26 days left for me! Kate

Hi Kate, I have had several major surgeries in the last few years and I never really felt bad from the anesthesia, just from the surgery pain. If you did well the other day, you will probably do fine. It seems like people either get really sick or do great, so I'd say you fall in the "do great" category! Blessings, Jaime
