Sue,
If you don't mind would you tell the cost of that work?.. IS insurance paying for any of that?.. I know you are selling your house but is it to pay for the Plastics?.. I hope these questions aren't to personal. I ask because you and I are the same age and I think we share the same kind of mind set on this stuff. (Which would be, 'get her done'!! lol!)
I would have sent you a personal email on this but I have a feeling we have few gals and guys on here that are just as interested as me.
peace
Mo

we can and people do in fact do who BELIEVE thay can and try to do it. but basically, you do it doing what you do best - whatever your talent may be... scrapbooking or staying at home or knitting or running a business or whatever. it does happen.

Oh Dave I'm so jealous you got to go to VA! I hang out on the Sex board and have just been GREEN with envy at all the talk leading up to it & now I get regaled with all the talk afterwards. I'm hoping to go one of these times. I want to attend at least *one* OH function!
CONGRATS on being retired! Wow, that's got to feel so freaking amazing. I can't imagine not working. I bet you & your wife are having a blast.
Once the honey-do-list is done anyway!
Take care and it was good to hear from you.
Hugs,
Lisa

Holy crap woman, I thought you looked familiar!!! GOOD to have you back! Wow, your pic is stunning!!
Since you did the Triathalon, I assume you're healed up? Didn't you hurt something awhile back? (back I thini maybe? Or was it your foot?) That's fabulous you did a Triathlon!!
Good job on getting your weight back down. I was down to 168 (for like a day!) but had stabalized ~175. Now I'm at 185
*Not* happy about that let me tell ya!
That's fantastic you got back down & inspiring for me as well!
Take care and don't be a stranger! It was so good to see your face!
Hugs,
Lisa

Oh trust me, I'm still quite the college party girl. Well actually, I'm not. I drink maybe 3-4 times a month...so what, like MAYBE once a weekend? I dont really overdo it because I get drunk after like 4-5 shots now...whereas before I needed like 12-15.
Anyways...I can eat so much it's disgusted. I feel like I need a personal trainer.
I'm anemic, and vitamin deficient, I've had some passing out cases....they put me on prescription iron twice a day, folbic acid twice a day and another pre-natal tablet twice a day (no i'm not pregnant!)
School is EXCELLENT. I love my classes this semester, although they're hard as heck. I'm taking physiology, physics 2, sports psychology, evaluation techniques in sports medicine and human motor development.
I'm still tagging around with the Robert character, and he's gotten better at being more 50-50 with me (remember before he was 98-2) - he still won't commit to me though. Oh well.

I've been retired one month and stayed busy with getting the house in order. The downstairs is freshly painted, carpeted, and boxes of 36 years of maital accumulation have been tossed.
Two weekends back, I spent time in Richmond VA attending a bariatric event put on by David at Goal's "Stapled Up." It was primarily a social event with a small measure of education. Those VA folks know how to party hardy but they are also a caring, gracious, and smart group of people. Their were also folks there from the northeast, south, and west. And there was the "wild bunch" from the "Sex before and after" board.
The Sat evening dance was themed New York disco and it was a blast. I danced my ass on (as opposed to off: not that much anymore).
I really enjoy bariatric brethren as they are walking the walk. I hope to meet some of you folks in the near future. Hell, you are my closest bariatric kin.
Nan, the VA girls said Hi!
