I just want to send you absolutly the best wishes for your marriage Andrea & Peter.. It's such a lovely thing that you have found each other. We July Babies share in your happiness and just know how happy and proud of you we are.!!!
Such exciting news, shouldn't somebody let the powers that be at obesityhelp.com in on the fact you two met on here are going to be married as a result of meeting on the July Board ( and falling in love of course)
.. They could do a photo shoot of you guys for the OH Magazine....
Again many good wishes..
peace

Thanks Pattiann
I got lucky, my tummy tuck was covered due to me being able to document back pain and skin irritation directly related to the extra skin. The hernias would have made it so that the hospital and anesthesia costs would have been covered even if the tummy tuck itself was not. Go to your primary care physician now and lay the ground work as far as pain and skin problems go.

Topic: DATING AGAIN AND AGaIN AND AGAIN
Ok I am back with better news... Allthough my accident and the loss of mother was tragic. Having a new body - I have been hot stuff....!!!
Not to brag ( okay I will )... I am having the time of my life. Never could I have dreamed to be swamped when I go out. It is a bit overwhelming ( being humble here)
I have dated a few whatevers: some fun - some potentials had to be fired from dating me because of attitudes and actions.
I finally had to go out and by the book
"he is just not that into to you".
Wondering if anyone else has read this book??? It is a hoot. I feel like a high school
girl- dating- analyzing- discussin with my gal friends the men I meet and what I think
of them.
HAving a good time- but really trying to find a man who has it somewhat together here in NY... I feel like each date is a new episode of Sex in the city!!
It is a hoot out here- or I am too old for this stuff- but I am determined there is some-one out there !

Overall - just great.
I'm still working on taking off the 10 pounds I put on over the holidays. Some of it is gone, but not all of it. Next vacation (next week) I'm taking my scale with me to remind me that there are consequences.
Work wise I'm now a consultant. Managing the same project I was managing before as an employee. They pay me more per hour but don't cover benefits. For them it is almost a wash. For me, it is working out better. However, being a consultant means I don't have any idea if or for how long this work will continue. My present contract only covers me into March. I'm luckier than most, I do have a retirement income as a fallback, though it needs to go into the bank for when I really retire in the future.
Next week we go to Whistler/Blackcomb for skiing. I'm excited. When I ski, and fall down, I'll be able to get back up. I haven't skied in over 15 years and not since high school at a weight as low as I am now. I'm thinking I'll need to take a lesson for a refresher.
